Tom Marino

Thomas Anthony " Tom" Marino ( born August 13, 1952 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania) is an American politician. Since 2011 he represents the state of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Tom Marino attended until 1983, the Williamsport Area Community College and then to 1985, the Lycoming College. After a subsequent study of law and qualifying as a lawyer, he began to work in this profession. He was also a manager at a craft business. Between 1992 and 2002 he served as district attorney in Lycoming County; 2002 to 2007 he was United States Attorney for the central part of the state of Pennsylvania. Politically, he joined the Republican Party.

In the congressional elections of 2010, Marino was in the tenth electoral district of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of him previously defeated Democrat Chris Carney on January 3, 2011. In Congress, he is a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, the Judiciary Committee and the Committee on Homeland Security. He is also a total of eight sub-committees.

Tom Marino is married and has two children. The family lives in Lycoming.
