Tom Sawyer is an American silent film of Paramount Pictures in 1917, based on the novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain.

Directed by William Desmond Taylor embodied Jack Pickford, brother of Mary Pickford, Tom Sawyer. Robert Gordon starred as Huckleberry Finn and Clara Horton as Becky Thatcher.

The film images were taken in Hannibal (Missouri ) in September 1917.

The film was re-released in 2000 by The Library of Moving Images on DVD, 2006, another time by Unknown video.
