Tom Soares

Thomas James " Tom" Soares (* July 10, 1986 in Reading ) is an English footballer. The midfielder is since 2008 at Stoke City under contract. His brother Louie is also footballer and currently plays for Aldershot Town and for the national football team of Barbados.

Soares went through the entire football school of Crystal Palace and developed so quickly for regular players. However, he had to switch to the position of winger due to the lack of staff frequently. Since it was not the position he was quickly criticized the Palace fans.

Many football coach England in Soares see a great talent, so he was then nominated for the U -21 England team. Under Neil Warnock the new coach of Crystal Palace he matured into one of the key players in the three -man midfield. His speed and surprisingly good shooting technique ensured that he was appointed by the fans for the key player of the season 2007/ 08.

Early in the season of change Soares was announced newly promoted to the Premier League Stoke City by Warnock.
