Tom W. Bonner Prize in Nuclear Physics
The Tom W. Bonner Prize for Nuclear Physics ( Tom W. Bonner Prize for Nuclear Physics ) is conferred annually by the American Physical Society for Nuclear Physics Prize. He is endowed with $ 10,000 (as of 2012) and has been awarded since 1964. It is named after the physicist Tom Wilkerson Bonner ( 1910-1961 ). Basically, he is awarded for experimental work, but occasionally also to theorists.
