Tomáš Belic

Tomáš Belic ( born July 2, 1978 in Trenčín ) is a Slovak football player.

Club career

Belic began playing football at TTS Trenčín, then played the goalkeeper for ZŤS Dubnica nad Vahom, MŠK Žilina, Ozeta Dukla Trenčín, VTJ Štúrovo and MFK Nové Zámky.

From 2000 to 2002 Belic stood at Spartak Trnava under contract, then he moved to the Czech Republic on 1 FC Brno. In the summer of 2005 he went on loan to the 2nd League to Dynamo České Budějovice, in the spring of 2006, they played the goalkeeper for FC Vitkovice. After half a year at FK AS Trenčín Belic changed in early 2007 to FK Teplice.

In Teplice Belic was initially the number two behind main goalkeeper Martin Slavik, as this injured on 18 April 2007, the Slovak stood up to the end of the season in goal. In the 2007 /08 season, he sat in all league games on the bench. The season 2008/ 09 he started as a new number one and showed consistently good performance. On 1 January 2009 changed Belic, whose contract had expired in Teplice, free transfer to Panionios Athens. When two-time Greek Cup Winners Belic signed a two and a half year contract.
