Tomáš Majtán ( born March 30, 1987 in Bratislava) is a Slovak football player. The striker is since March 2014 the Polish Gornik Zabrze record champions under contract.

Club career

Majtán played in his youth for FK Inter Bratislava. He received the first professional contract even when FK Inter Bratislava, where he was under contract for three years. Majtán has been borrowed from February to December 2009 by the FC Petržalka 1898. In February 2010 Majtán received a contract for three and a half years at MŠK Žilina. Majtán was Slovakian football champions 2009/10 with the team and played in all six games of his club in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League 2010/ 11, together with the qualification Majtán played twelve times, and has a goal against Spartak Moscow achieved. In 2012, he was loaned to the Czech first division club Banik Ostrava, where he was able to achieve three goals in nine league games. After his return to MŠK Žilina he was not always a regular player and moved in March 2014 to Poland Gornik Zabrze.

National

Majtán played thirteen games for the Slovak U -21 national team and has scored a goal.
