Tomáš Mojžíš

Tomáš Mojžíš ( born 2 May 1982 in Pardubice, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is since January 2013 when HC Slovan Bratislava in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Tomáš Mojžíš began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior section of the HC Pardubice, for he participated in the 1999/2000 season at the U20 Extraliga. Then the defender spent three years active in the Canadian Junior Football League Western Hockey League for the Moose Jaw Warriors and Seattle Thunderbirds. During this period he also graduated in the 2001/ 02 season, two matches in the first league, the second Czech league, for the HC Prostějov.

Upon his return to North America Mojžíš played from 2003 to 2006 for the Manitoba Moose in the American Hockey League. For their partners, the Vancouver Canucks, he also came in the 2005/06 season to seven appearances in the National Hockey League, where he gave a presentation. During this season the Czech to the St. Louis Blues was transferred, for which he played in the 2006/07 season six times in the NHL. Almost exclusively, however, he stood for their farm team in the AHL Peoria Rivermen on the ice.

The 2007/08 season at HK Sibir Novosibirsk spent Mojžíš in the Russian Super League. Then he moved to the Minnesota Wild, but could not prevail again in the NHL and played the majority of games for their AHL farm team Houston Aeros. The signature in North America in conjunction with the founding of the Kontinental Hockey League and an opaque transfer agreement between the two leagues had been temporarily banned from July 2008 with five other players by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF the Czech. In the 2009/10 season, the Czech international was at MODO Hockey Örnsköldsvik in the Swedish Elitserien under contract.

In July 2010 Mojžíš was obliged by HC Dinamo Minsk of the KHL and completed 42 games for the club. In August 2011 he received a contract with TPS Turku of the Finnish SM- liiga.

In May 2012, Mojžíš was taken from HC Lev Prague from the KHL under contract and came to January 2013, for the HC Sparta Prague in the Extraliga for use before it was delivered to the HC Slovan Bratislava.

Internationally

For the Czech Republic Mojžíš took at junior level at the U18 World Youth Championship in 2000, as well as the U20 Junior World Cup 2002 part. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Cup 2010 in Germany. In this, he won the world title with his team.

In addition, he took in 2008 with the Czech national inline hockey at the Inline Hockey World Championship in Bratislava part.
