Tomasz Gollob

Tomasz Gollob ( born April 11, 1971 in Bydgoszcz ) is a Polish speedway rider.

Life

He was a member of the Polish national team, in 1996, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010 won the Team World Champion. On June 10, 2007 Tomasz Gollob survived along with Rune Holta a serious plane crash with his private plane. On 30 July 2007 he was awarded for the merits of the Polish President Lech Kaczyński from Speedway with the Order of Polonia Restituta. In 2010, he was the fifth time world champion team and for the first time individual world champion. In December 2010, he was honored by the World Motorcycle Association, entitled Personality of the Year.
