Tomasz Sikorski
Tomasz Sikorski ( born May 19, 1939 in Warsaw, † November 12, 1988 in Warsaw) was a Polish composer and pianist.
The son of Kazimierz Sikorski at the Warsaw Conservatory was a pupil of his father and of Zbigniew Drzewicki. Then he studied from 1965 to 1966 in Paris with Nadia Boulanger. From 1975 to 1976 he worked at the Columbia - Princeton Electronic Music Center in New York City. After that, he lived as a freelance composer and pianist in Warsaw.
In addition to piano works and a radio opera Sikorski composed numerous instrumental works, sometimes with the use of a tape.
