Tomasz Wieszczycki

Tomasz Witold Wieszczycki ( born December 21, 1971 in Łódź, Poland ) is a former Polish football player.

Club career

The during his playing days 1.81 m wide and 77 -pound midfielder started his career in his hometown of Łódź during Łódzki KS. After a brief but successful stint with Legia Warszawa, he moved to France in 1996 for AC Le Havre. In 1997 he returned back to Poland, however, and played back again for the Łódzki KS. His most successful period he had from 2000 to 2001 at Polonia Warszawa. With the Brussels residents, he won the Polish championship, the Polish Cup, the Polish Supercup and the Polish League Cup. In 2001, he ventured again to move abroad and moved to Greece for OFI Crete. Here he could not prevail, and returned after half a year back to Poland. Here again he played three seasons for Groclin Grodzisk.

National

For the Polish national team, he played eleven games and scored three goals. With the Polish selection, he won silver at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.
