Tommy Sugiarto

Tommy Sugiarto (born 31 May 1988 in Jakarta ) is an Indonesian badminton player. He is the son of Icuk Sugiarto, who was also a successful badminton player.

Career

Tommy Sugiarto was already a junior third in the men's doubles at the India Open 2004. Two years later, he fought his way to the silver medal at the Junior World Championships. In the Universiade 2007, he was fifth in singles and third parties with the Indonesian men's team. In 2008 he won silver with the team from Jakarta in the national games. In 2010 he was able to win silver at the World University Championships and gold at the Bahrain International.
