Tomo Miličević

Tomislav " Tomo " Milicevic ( born September 3, 1979 in Sarajevo ) is a Bosnian - American guitarist. He is the guitarist for the alternative rock band 30 Seconds to Mars.

Milicevic was born in Sarajevo and came as a child with his parents to the United States. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan and has an older sister, Ivana is the actress and a younger brother, Filip. His parents Tonka and Damir Milicevic, operate a restaurant in Los Angeles.

The whole family is very musical ( Miličevićs uncle, for example, is a concert violinist ) and Milicevic always had to do with some form of music. He enjoyed a classical music education; at the age of three he began playing violin. Later he discovered other music - rock and heavy metal - and decided to learn to play guitar. His parents supported Milicevic in this project and his father built together with him his first guitar, which he still owns today and has played on the 30 - Seconds -to -Mars- album A Beautiful Lie. By the age of 19 years, he also played violin continue.

Milicevic is a trained chef and pastry chef, and has worked both as a chef and as a pastry chef in various restaurants. His particular specialty is wedding cakes.

He was from the beginning an avid fan of the band 30 Seconds to Mars. 2003, when the band was looking for a new guitar player, he was able to convince the band members in his audition and became the new guitarist of the band.
