Tomohon

Geographical unit

Tomohon is a city on the island of Sulawesi with about 90,000 inhabitants in the province of North Sulawesi, Indonesia, about 25 km south of Manado. Until 2003 it belonged to the government district ( kabupaten ) Minahasa, Heite it is, as a city ( Kota ) directly from the provincial government. The city lies at the foot of Gunung Lokon.
