Tonči Valčić ( born June 9, 1978 in Zadar) is a native of Croatia handball player. Valčić is 1.94 m tall.

Valčić, of the top Croatian club RK Zagreb ( shirt number 24) and plays for the Croatian national team ( shirt number 24) runs, is usually used in the left back.

Tonči Valčić played since his youth, for the RK Zagreb and played there his first league games. With Zagreb he won in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000, the national championship in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 the Croatian Cup. In 2000, he was taken from the German club TV Großwallstadt under contract. He remained there for three years and then moved on to CB Torrevieja in the Spanish league ASOBAL. In 2007 he spent a year with the top club Ademar León, before he returned in 2008 to his hometown club to Zagreb and won every year the league and cup.

Tonči Valčić has been disputed over 144 caps for the Croatian national team. In the Men's Handball World Championship 2003 in Portugal, he was world champion and at the World Handball Championship in Tunisia in 2005 Vice World Champion. In the Handball World Cup 2007 in Germany, he finished with who had traveled as title favorite Croats the 5th Place; in the European Handball Championship in Norway in 2008, he was again Vice-European Champion with his country. 2009 in their own country, he was again runner-up world champion. Also at the European Championships in 2010, he finished second. In 2011 he was at the fifth World Cup.

His younger brother Josip Valčić is also handball player.
