Tone LÅc
Tone Loc, actually Anthony Terrell Smith ( born March 3, 1966 in Los Angeles, California ) is an American hip hop musician and rapper who is best known for his hit singles released in 1989 Funky Cold Medina and Wild Thing. A hallmark is its smoky until hoarse voice.
Life
The name Tone Loc derives from the nickname " Antonio Loco ", which he had in his youth, often it is also written with macron as Tone Loc. Earlier in his career he was one of the first rapper in the West Coast. Tone Loc is known besides the music as an actor in the films Ace Ventura - Pet Detective, Posse - The Revenge of Jessie Lee and Titan AE as well as in the reality show Superstar USA. 2003 Loc was represented on the album FeFe Dobson Fefe Dobson with rap to Rock It Till You Drop It.
