Tonel, António Leonel Vilar Nogueira Sousa actually ( born April 13, 1980 in Lourosa, Portugal ) is a Portuguese football player. He is currently in the Primeira Liga SC Beira -Mar under contract.

Tonel played as a central defender with Sporting Lisbon, from where he moved to the Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb in 2010. His debut in the Portuguese national team, he was on 15 November 2006 in the Euro 2008 qualifying match against Kazakhstan in Coimbra.
