Tong Jian

Tong Jian (Chinese佟 健, Pinyin Tong Jiàn, born August 15, 1979 in Harbin ) is a Chinese figure skater who starts in pair skating.

Tong was born in Harbin, the center of Chinese figure skating sport. He began at the age of six years with the figure skating, first as individual runners and because of his of him as too low assessed jump assets as ice dancers. In 1993 he moved to the pair of running because he found it interesting and saw no international perspective in ice dancing.

His first figure skating partner was Zhang Yue. 1993 brought him his coach Yao Bin, 1980, the first Chinese participants was together with his partner Luan Bo at the World Championships in the pairs figure skating, with Pang Qing together.
