Tonje Larsen

Tonje Larsen ( born January 26, 1975 in Tønsberg, Norway) is a Norwegian handball player. She plays at Larvik HK in the Norwegian Elite Series.

Was playing in the middle backcourt Norwegian began playing handball in her hometown Tønsberg. Here they played for Tønsberg Tønsberg turn and HK. Later, Larsen moved to Larvik HK, for which she played until 1998. With Larvik she won in 1996 and 1998, the Norwegian championship. In the 1998/99 season the Norwegian played for the Danish club Viborg HK, with whom she won the Danish championship and the EHF Cup. After this season, she returned to Larvik, where they 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 the championship, in 2005 and 2008, the European Cup Winners' Cup, and 2011, the EHF Champions League won. Tonje Larsen graduated 264 appearances for the Norwegian national handball team. Together with the Norwegian team was in 1998, 2008 and 2010 European champion and 1999 World Champion. At the 2000 Olympic Games she won the bronze medal. In the 2008 Olympics she won the gold medal. It belonged to the squad of their national federation in the 2009 World Cup in China.
