Tony Alva

Tony Alva ( born September 2, 1957 in Santa Monica, California) is an American professional skateboarder, a member of the original Z-Boys and the first skateboard world champion ever. He is considered a pioneer of the Vert- style.

Life

Alva came from a relatively strict family and was given in 1968 gave a surf and a skateboard. He developed a strong passion for surfing, skateboarding and rock ' n ' roll. In 1972 he came with athletes such as Jay Adams and Stacy Peralta in the famous Zephyr team. After the great success of the team on his debut in 1975, Alva started a brilliant career.
