Tony Attwood

Tony Attwood ( born 1952 in Birmingham) is a clinical psychologist. He specializes in Asperger's syndrome and has published numerous books and other media on this topic. Biography

At the age of 14 he became interested in psychology for the first time and decided since the 1971 meeting with two autistic children to specialize in autism, particularly Asperger's syndrome. He now lives in Queensland / Australia. He heads since 1992 together with the child psychiatrist Dr. Brian Ross a clinic for diagnosis and treatment of children and adults with Asperger syndrome.
