Tony Hadley

Tony Hadley ( born June 2, 1960 in Islington ) is a British pop singer. He was 1979-1990, the singer of the New Romantic band Spandau Ballet. In 2009, the band reformed again.

Life

Hadley's career began in 1974 by winning a talent contest. In 1979, he teamed up with the two brothers Gary and Martin Kemp and created the band Spandau Ballet, the world's great success celebrated in the 1980s, among others, with titles such as True (1983 ), Gold ( 1983) Only When You Leave (1984).

After the dissolution of Spandau Ballet in 1990, Hadley built on a solo career. In 1992 his debut album, The State of Play, from the three moderately successful singles were released. In collaboration with the British House band Tin Tin Out 1997, the single Dance With Me, with the Hadley once again made ​​it into the charts created. In the same year he released his second album, Tony Hadley, which mainly contains cover versions. In 1999, he toured as a singer with Alan Parsons on The Time Machine tour through Europe.

Family
