Tony Jarrett

Tony Jarrett ( born August 13, 1968 in Enfield, England) is a former British athlete.

Jarrett was one from the late 1980s to the late 1990s to the world's best 110 -meter hurdles sprinter. However, he was in his entire career in the shadow of his compatriot Colin Jackson and could never win at the Olympic Games or World Championships against him. Nevertheless, he collected numerous medals at these events.

At the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and the 2001 World Championships in Athletics in Edmonton he tried last time to win a major title at the end of his career. But failed both times because of false starts that led to his disqualification.
