Tony Ma

Tony Ma ( born 1957 in Vietnam, civil: Hieu Ngoc Ma) is an American professional poker player.

In 1985 he moved to Southern California and started playing poker regularly. In the World Series of Poker 1996 he won his first bracelet and 236,000 U.S. dollars, as he, against players like John Bonetti, Johnny Chan and TJ Cloutier, won the $ 5,000 Limit Hold'em tournament. His second bracelet he won in 2000 at the $ 2,000 Limit Hold'em tournament.

Won the 1999 Tony Ma the Player of the Year Award from Card Player Magazine.

To date, he has won about 4 million U.S. dollars through official poker tournaments. He currently resides with his wife and two children in South El Monte, California. He is also a typical representative of Men Nguyen School.
