Tony Randel

Tony Randel (born 29 May 1956 Los Angeles ) is an American screenwriter and film director and editor.

Life

Randel began his career as a clerk in Roger Corman's production company New Word Pictures. In 1980 he worked on the special effects for the B-movie production Sador - The Rattlesnake ruler in space and the following year for John Carpenter. From the mid- 1980s he also wrote screenplays and worked as a director, including the Hellraiser movie series. At times, he was Vice President of New World Pictures. Since the 2000s, he is also increasingly active as an editor. He was responsible for the cut several films by Jim Wynorski.

Tony Randel is married and father of four children.
