On the album, the band refers several times on the television series Dawson 's Creek, for example, by the song title Capeside Skirt ( Capeside is the Handlungsort the series) as well as samples. So in the intro is the song Take Her To The Music Store Katie Holmes heard that the looped line "You break my heart into a thousand pieces and say it's because i deserve better? " Speaking in her role as Joey, and at the end of Reflections Joshua Jackson ( Pacey, " ... I feel like I'm nothing ... ").

It should also be heard as a guest singer Melanie Wills of the band One True Thing with the song Short Stories With Tragic Endings. The nine minute title which forms the conclusion by the first time, united example most of the songs characterizing aspects, how long instrumental parts and cry parts that suddenly go in undisturbed parts and are sometimes accompanied by an acoustic guitar.
