Geography

Toowong is located between the Brisbane River and the Mt Coot- tha. The largest parts of the region are dominated by low hills and plains. Since European settlement of the place, most areas were cleared in order to make them useful for building houses. Some exceptions are the urban parks.

Toowong is a central transportation hub, pass through the nearly all bus and rail lines of the city from the west.
