Rock arch on the potter

The potter is a 582 meter high mountain in the Zittau Mountains northeast of the town Oybin. He is known mainly because of its geological formations of the mountain chalet at the summit ( potter's cottage ) and the views of the Upper Lusatian Mountains, the Giant and Jizera Mountains and the town of Zittau. It is named after the potter's probably one of the many rock formations on the elongated summit, a rock arch, which looks like two cups or urns.

Bohemian views

The Bohemian views at Potter is a viewpoint at the east end of the summit plateau. From the railing secured by Pulpit Rock offers a view on the German -Czech border in the direction of Iser, Giant, and Jeschke Mountains. To the northeast are several places, including Bogatynia in Poland and Hradek nad Nisou in the Czech Republic. History
