History

The pot mine was introduced in 1944 as anti-tank mine in the Wehrmacht and used until the end of the Second World War. She was completely metal-free, because their housing was made ​​of pressed material (wood flour / tar mixture ) and she had a chemical detonator in a glass ampoule. Thus, it was not to locate with metal detectors.

Operation

The mine, which was covered or stored openly, triggered by pressure on the pressure plate on the entire lid. To trigger the mine a load of 150 kg was needed.
