Topklasse

The top class since the 2010/11 season, the third highest football league in the Dutch league system. It forms the connection between the two professional leagues Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie and the hitherto highest amateur league, the Hoofdklasse.

Mode

The top echelon consists of two seasons: the top echelon Zaterdag ( Saturday) and the top echelon Zondag (Sunday ) in which each play 16 clubs. The respective winners play the upstart into a final. The winner will advance to the Eerste Divisie. If this refrain, and the runners- rises. That can not or will not rise too, so there is no climbers from top of the range and not relegated from the First Division. The respectively in the stands 14 to 16 runners from the top echelon rise, the 13 plays in a playoff round with teams from the Hoofdklasse.

  • VV Noordwijk as a master of Hoofdklasse A
  • GVVV from Veenendaal as a master of Hoofdklasse B
  • SVZW from wierden as a master of Hoofdklasse C
  • VV Montfoort as the winner of the Relegation Round

Newly arrived in the Sunday season of top class

  • HBS Craeyenhout of The Hague as a master of Hoofdklasse A
  • VV UNA from Veldhoven as a master of Hoofdklasse B
  • HSC '21 Haaksbergen from a master of Hoofdklasse C
  • WKE from Emmen as the winner of the Relegation Round
  • The FC Hilversum remained in the league, as substitutes for the Almere City FC, who was sporting relegated from the First Division. Both benefited from the insolvency of the RBC Roosendaal, who signed off himself from the game.
