Topo Gigio

Topo Gigio, space mouse ( display as Topo Gigio - The space mouse; jap夢見る トッポ·ジージョ, Yume Miru Toppo Jijo, dt " dreaming Topo Gigio ") is a 34 -part Japanese anime series from 1988, produced by Nippon Animation. The series is based on an Italian children's show with puppets, which aired in the 1960s.

Topo Gigio

The figure was invented in 1958 by Maria Perego and was played in a costume of Giuseppe ( Peppino ) Mazzullo. The mouse was on TV and in magazines, cartoons and widespread than merchandising. After the series was shown in the U.S. on the Ed Sullivan Show, she became known worldwide. Thus it was shown also in Latin America and Japan. The figure still occurs regularly at Zecchino d' Oro as well as in other programs of Radiotelevisione Italiana. 1965 film Le Avventure di topo Gigio was shown in Italy and other countries in the cinemas. Furthermore, Topo Gigio accompanied in 1964 under the name "Mouse Rich Mike Molto " the television entertainment show " Music from Studio B " with Chris Howland.

On 20 June 1967, the film Topo Gigio no Botan Sensō appeared (トッポ·ジージョ の ボタン 戦争, dt " Topo Gigios war on a button" ) by director Kon Ichikawa.

Anime

1988 was followed by the anime television series by Nippon Animation Yume miru Topo Gigio. Between July 9, 2003 and March 31 was released in 2004 on Kids Station, a 38 -piece more anime series called Topo Gigio Gekijo (トッポ·ジージョ 劇場, dt " Topo Gigio - Theatre "), which in their DVD publication has been supplemented with 6 more episodes.
