Toposa people

The Toposa are an ethnic group in South Sudan in the state Sharq al - Istiwa'iyya ( Eastern Equatoria ), mainly in the area of Kapoita. Their language, a Nilotic language, is also called Toposa and is among the Teso - Turkana languages. Many Toposa are Christians. Their total number is about 100,000, according to other data 700000-750000. The Toposa live semi-nomadic from the livestock, especially cattle breeding.
