Torbjørn Ruste

Torbjørn Ruste ( born December 9, 1929 † 31 July 2003) was a Norwegian ski jumper.

Before Ruste began jumping, he played active football. 1947 belonged to the goalkeeper of the national junior team. He finished but soon his active football career, but worked alongside the ski jumping as a coach for youth teams in Nydalen.

In the Four Hills Tournament 1954/55 Ruste won the competition in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen. In Oberstdorf, he had previously reached the 5th place. In Garmisch -Partenkirchen he could not place it on the front ranks is because of a fall. In the Norwegian Championship 1955 in Voss Ruste came on the normal hill on the 6th Place. 1967 ended Ruste his active career.
