Tore Vikingstad

Goals Vikingstad ( born October 8, 1975 in Trondheim ) is a former Norwegian ice hockey player who played in his playing days from 1993 to 2013 among others for the DEG Metro Stars and the Hannover Scorpions in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

Career

Goals Vikingstad began in his native Norwegian with ice hockey and gave in 1993 for the first team Viking IK his debut in the GET ligaen, the highest Norwegian league. There, the Center was able to added as a regular player and increase his points yield continuously, so that he finally completed a total of 64 missions for the team from Stavanger, scoring 35 points scorer. After three years at Viking and two other competitors in the league Stjernen the links Sagittarius moved in 1998 to Färjestad BK in the Swedish Elitserien. In addition, he was elected Player of the Year and center of the year. The following year he resigned from the people of Düsseldorf in the semifinals against the Nuremberg Ice Tigers.

At the end of the season 2007 / 08, Vikingstads expiring contract was not renewed, and he had to find a new employer for the season 2008/ 09. His last year at DEG was by reaching the play-off semi-finals, where they finally with 2:3 games failed because of the polar bear from Berlin, once again sporting success. Together with his longtime partner storm Klaus Kathan joined gates Vikingstad after the season the Hannover Scorpions, with whom he became German champion in the season 2009/10. For this success he contributed as best assist provider of the Main Round. After he then spent another year at the Lower Saxony, the Olympians came from 2010 to 2011/12 season in his native Norway, where he received a contract with the Stavanger Oilers. Internationally

For Norway took Vikingstad at junior level only at the U20 Junior B World Cup 1995 part. In the senior level, he stood in the squad of his country at the B World Championships in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005, and at the A World Championships in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2006 and 2009. Moreover, he ran for Norway at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
