The Torino Lingotto railway station is a mainline and regional train station in the Italian city of Turin and behind Porta Nuova and Porta Susa the third largest in the city. He is in possession of the FS infrastructure daughter RFI and is served by trains of Trenitalia and Arenaways.

Location

The station is located near the Fiat site in Turin and the Turin Olympic Park on the line between Genoa and Turin.

History

In the 1960s, was located on the site of a private breakpoint on the Fiat employee who was terminated in 1980, after a station has been configured on the occasion of the double-track extension of the route. 1984, the Lingotto railway station was opened to traffic.
