Torma Parish

Torma is an Estonian rural municipality in the county Jõgeva with an area of ​​349.3 km ².

The rural municipality has 2234 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2010). In addition to the main places Torma ( administrative center ) and Sadala it includes the villages Iravere, Kantküla, Kodismaa, Koimula, Kõnnu, Leedi, Liikatku, Lilastvere, Näduvere, Ookatku, Oti, Rassiku, Reastvere, Rääbise, Sätsuvere, Tealama, Tuimõisa, Tõikvere, Tähkvere, Vaiatu, Vanamõisa, Võidivere and Võtikvere.

Torma was mentioned in a Russian chronicle for the first time in 1212.
