Toro Y Moi

Chaz Bundick (born 7 November 1986), better known as Toro Y Moi is an American singer and producer.

Life

Chaz Bundick was born in Columbia, South Carolina, where he attended Ridgeview High School, he formed there with three classmates the indie rock band The Heist and the Accomplice.

Music

His music has many influences, but he is often associated with the genre chillwave. " Toro Y Moi " is a multilingual expression consisting of the Spanish word toro ( ' bull ' ), y (Spanish: 'and') and moi, what ' I ' in French means.
