Toronto Waterfront Marathon

The Toronto Waterfront Marathon is a marathon in Toronto by the Runners Choice Promotions Ltd. Since 2000 is organized and one of the fastest in North America. The program also includes a half marathon, which is already held since 1990, and a five- kilometer run.

The start and finish of the course are located at City Hall. After a loop that leads to the harbor, it's on the shores of Lake Ontario westward, first to a turning point haul. At the height of High Park is turned. While the half-marathon runners go directly from the port to the destination, it's for the marathon runner in direction east. First, the artificially reclaimed island Leslie Street Spit is activated, then you can reach at Ashbridge 's Bay Park the easternmost point of the route, from which it directly back to the target.
