Torpan Pojat

Torpan Pojat ( ToPo ) is a Finnish basketball club from Helsinki.

The club was founded in 1932 as a sports club in a school Munkkiniemi, a district of Helsinki. In the late 1950s, the first successes came at a national level in basketball. After two runner-up 1957 and 1959 ToPo in 1960 for the first time Finnish champion in basketball. Other triumphs followed in 1966, 1978 and three championships in the 1980s. From 1996 to 1998, the Torpan Pojat were finally washed three times in a row, national champion and twice Cup winners.

The home games are borne by the Club in the Töölön kisahalli out in the Helsinki district of Töölö. The hall was built for the Olympic Summer Games 1952.
