Torre del Greco

Torre del Greco is a town with 85 382 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Naples, Campania region.

The city is known for its coral jewelry produced here, which also has its own museum, the Museo del Coralle the Istituto d'Arte ( Art Institute ) will be issued.

Neighboring municipalities are Boscotrecase, Ercolano, Torre Annunziata and Trecase. Patron saints of the city are Mary Immaculate and San Gennaro.

Geography

The village lies between Mount Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples.
