Torricella Sicura

Torricella Sicura is a small town in the province of Teramo. It has 2 676 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) and is about 6 km from Teramo town, in the Abruzzo region, central Italy. The inhabitants are called " Torricellesi ". The town is a member of the Comunità Montana della Laga.

Torricella Sicura is also known for its folklore museum. It has over 16,000 exhibits, which are divided into three sectors: an old family of the city, old parts for agricultural work (1800 and 1900) and a virtual museum with precise information about the jobs and activities of the former inhabitants. Gino Di Benedetto has realized the museum and presents the virtual museum on an Internet site.
