Tour du Maroc

The Morocco Tour or Tour de Maroc is the most important Moroccan stages bicycle race. The tour took place from March 26 to April 4, 2010 her 34th. The ten stages led over a total distance of 1488 km. Prolog was in Settat; the last stage ended in Casablanca.

The race was held in 1937 for the first time and finds since at irregular intervals every year in May or June. The racing series 1957-1993 was amateurs reserved. Since 2006, one of the stage race for UCI Africa Tour.

Record winner is the Moroccan Mohamed El Gourch who could win the race three times for themselves. As the only German Andreas Petermann won the Tour in 1983.
