Tour of Ireland

The Tour of Ireland (English Tour of Ireland ) is a bicycle race that takes place in Ireland.

The tour is a stage race and was part of the UCI Europe Tour in the category 2.1. The organizer is The Events Group Limited in collaboration with the bicycle marketing company Shadetree Sports. The tour was held in 2007 for the first time since 1992.

Between 1953 and 1992, the tour was previously held intermittently, which was usually started and ended in the Irish capital Dublin. The record winner of the event is local hero Sean Kelly, who won the Tour four times.

2009, the race was held for the time being the last time.
