Tourism geography

The tourism geography, also called geography of tourism, is a part of economic geography. You geographically concerned with phenomena of tourism and therefore focused its spatial aspects. As a geography of leisure and tourism it deals in addition to tourism with activities of leisure.

Since the tourism science is characterized by great interdisciplinarity, it is difficult to make deferrals within this science. There is a risk of duplication in all disciplines, but this may well lead to new insights.

Since the beginning of the 20th century, the geography busy with tourism. In 1905, the term " Tourist Geography " came on for the first time.
