Tourteron is a commune with 179 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Ardennes department in the Champagne-Ardenne region in the canton Tourteron. Tourteron is the capital of the canton.

History
The church of Saint -Brice originated in the Renaissance period. End of August 1914 it was used during the First World War in the context of the local fighting between German and French troops, the result of which the French units retreated further. On the German side the 15th Royal Saxon Infantry Regiment No. 181 was involved, whose commander died on August 30. The population of the parish was 1962 214 people, rising to 1968 to 245 persons. The number of inhabitants then dropped to 1999 to 186.
