Tove Alexandersson

Tove Alexandersson Malin Frida ( born September 7, 1992) is a Swedish orienteer and ski orienteer.

Career

Alexandersson was 2009 and 2010 Junior World Champion in the middle distance. At the Junior World Championships in 2011, she finished fourth in the sprint, second in the long distance and third parties on the middle distance. With the Swedish season they won the gold medal together with Helena Karlsson and Linnea Martinsson. In 2011 she was also appointed to the World Series of assets in the French Savoie. She started in the season and won together with Helena Jansson and Annika Billstam the bronze medal behind the teams from Finland and the Czech Republic.

In 2011 she won with the PostFinance Sprint in Zurich also her first World Cup, they also won the multi- stage race O-rings. In Swedish Junior Championships, she won six titles by 2011. It starts for the club Stora Tuna OK.

It was awarded in 2010 to the Swedish junior orienteer of the year. When Ski Orienteering Championships Junior 2008 she won twice the first place. At the Junior Ski Orienteering World Cup 2011 she won gold and silver in singles and bronze in the relay. On the assets side, it was also 2011 World Champion.

Since 15 September 2013, it was first performed as the number 1 in the world rankings and thus took the best orientation Simone Niggli the lead from. The world ranking was, however, set at the turn of 2013/14 and replaced by a reformed list.
