The Toverland ( German: Land of Oz ) in the Dutch Sevenum in Venlo is a year-round amusement park. Most attractions are housed in two large halls. A portion is located in the outdoor area.
History
In 2001 Toverland opened with a hall as a pure indoor park with a focus on families with young children. 2004, the second hall with the theme " Magic Forest" was inaugurated ( Magic Forest ) and the outdoor area. The new attractions, such as the roller coaster Booster Bike, flume and high ropes course, expanded the target group for families with older children. On 1 July 2007, the wooden roller coaster opened in Troy in a " trojan " themed, extended outdoor use. On 8 July 2010, the Trojan area around Troy by the swing boat " Scorpios " and a horse riding school has been extended. In 2011, the new themed area was announced De magical Vallei. The first attraction of this subject area opened in late September 2012, the roller coaster d' Wervelwind. On April 26, 2013, finally De magical Vallei was officially opened together with a carousel, a ten -meter-high observation tower, a water show and the Rapid River Djengu River.

The park and the manufacturer were used for the attractions Booster Bike ( Vekoma ) and Twist and Turn ( Metal Emmeln ) awarded in 2004 and 2005 with the Innovation Award " FKF Award" from the Friends of fair and amusement parks eV.
