Town class

Three classes of ships of the Royal Navy have been named Town - class.

These were:

• The Town - class (1910 ), Light Cruiser, the first of which entered service in 1910. Some ships of this class were also delivered to the Royal Australian Navy.
• The Town - class (1936 ), also light cruisers, the first of which entered service in 1936.
• The Town - class (1940 ) consisted of 50 U.S. destroyers that were taken over in 1940 by the Royal Navy.
