Town square test

The Marketplace sample (English: Town square test) is a term coined by the Israeli politician and former Soviet dissident Natan Sharansky political term. With this sample, the liberality of a company should be able to be tested.

Sharansky coined the term in his book The Case for Democracy, which was published in 2004:

The term gained distribution through the use of two senior American politicians. George W. Bush, former President of the United States, recommended the book in an interview with the Washington Times. Condoleezza Rice quoted Sharansky in her hearing before the Senatsaussschuss of Foreign Affairs prior to their appointment to the Secretary of State, in which she coined the term " outposts of tyranny ".
