The Toyo Tire & Rubber Company (Jap.東洋ゴム工業株式会社, Toyo Kogyo gomu kabushiki gaisha ) is a Japanese tire manufacturer, which was founded in 1945. The head office is in Osaka. Since 1975 is the European headquarters, the Toyo Tire Europe GmbH, Germany, since 2011 in Willich. 1981 Toyo achieved worldwide annual sales of 445 million dollars and had a global market share of 1.5 percent. 2012 Toyo employs 9,777 employees worldwide.
