Toyota Australia

Toyota Motor Corporation Australia ( TMCA ) or Toyota Australia is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan. TMCA markets products for Toyota and organized motorsport, advertising and business in Australia. Also for vehicles of the brand Lexus TMCA is responsible in Australia.

The current Managing Director of TMCA is Max Yasuda and David Buttner is the director of sales and marketing. John Conomos, former CEO, TMCA advises on strategic issues.

History

Motorsport

TMCA currently supports motorsport in the form of a Corolla for the Australian Rally, which was tuned by Toyota Racing Development ( TRD).

TRD was also tuning Department of TMCA, created the high-performance versions of normal Toyota vehicles. It was founded in 2007 and is operated by, Prodrive '.
